TUFC Summer Sixes
Each year Tuggeranong United is proud to host the TUFC Summer Sixes Tournament, which is a small-sided format with the emphasis on participation, enjoyment and competition within relevant skill-levels.
The Tournament is conducted in three sub-tournaments, which are:
Season 2013 dates
This season the TUFC Summer Sixes tournament will be held over the following dates:
Seniors: Every Thursday from 10th October until 12th December.
Finals to be held on Thursday 19th December.
Juniors: Every Friday from 18th October until 13th December.
All Senior and Junior finalists will receive medals for winners and runners-up.
Seniors: $900 per team + $20 insurance* for every player NOT registered with Capital Football for the regular 2013 season.
Juniors: $500 per team + $15 insurance* for every player NOT registered with Capital Football for the regular 2013 season.
* Players who are registered with Capital Football for the regular 2013 outdoor or futsal season who have a valid FFA number are not required to pay insurance.
Payments may be made in full:
Teams who have not registered and paid before the first week will not be able to play in Round 1.
Team nominations will not be accepted unless there is a minimum of 6 players with full details on the team sheet. ie. A viable team with FFA# and full payment will be accepted. You can add players later, if required
How to Pay
Registration payments can be made in the following ways:Cash or Cheque. TUFC registration evening at the Burn's Club on 26 September
Unfortunately TUFC cannot accept payment via credit card, and Summer Sixes do not have pay facilities through MyFootballClub.
Senior Division Nominations
Senior teams are encouraged to nominate in the appropriate division according to their skill-level to encourage fair and competitive matches throughout the season. TUFC will reserve the right to grade/re-grade teams in cases where:
Seniors is an open tournament for adult men, which is sub-divided into the following divisions:
Junior Boys is an age grouped tournament for boys and mixed teams, ranging from under 10 to under 18, which is sub-divided into the following divisions:
Junior Girls is an age grouped tournament for girls ranging from under 12 to under 18, which is sub-divided into the following divisions:
Other competition divisions and age groups will be considered depending on interest shown during the registration period. Sometimes divisions will need to be merged if there are not enough teams in a particular age group.
